One Cent coin, or penny, has almost no purchasing power today. The cost of making pennies in 2019 was 1.99 cents per coin. This cost includes the metal content and the labor used to produce them. The cost of producing them is higher than face value. Where once things were bleak, hopeless and sad for this little girl, a penny she finds by chance opens doors she never dreamed possible. This is a story of victory over defeat, and love conquering fear and emptiness. The Penny Ice Creamery is the only ice cream shop in Santa Cruz making delicious ice cream completely from scratch in house. Our flavors change with the seasons, and feature locally farmed and organic ingredients. Penny is your only subordinate in the company. She assists you in the laboratory, greatly contributing to your progress and will accompany you through the entire storyline, being pretty much the central character of it (aside of MC, naturally). She is one of the most complex, richest characters in the game.
